Brazilian Cultural Heritage & Arts Workshops

Hands-on workshops where participants learn drawing, painting, and traditional Brazilian art forms guided by experienced artist-educators from Arte Do Brasil.

Implementation goals

  • Teach core artistic techniques: drawing, color, composition, and painting
  • Introduce regional, Indigenous, and Afro-Brazilian artistic traditions
  • Connect each technique to the history and stories behind it

Target audience

Children, teenagers, adults, and families — no prior experience needed.

Expected outcomes

Community Youth Development & Creative Education

Program 02

Community Youth Development & Creative Education

A structured creative education track by Arte Do Brasil that helps young people build confidence, discipline, and self-expression through art.

Implementation goals

  • Offer regular mentoring by artists and educators
  • Build soft skills: focus, teamwork, presenting work in public
  • Support partnerships with schools and youth organizations

Target audience

Children and young people, with priority for those with limited access to cultural activities.

Arte Do Brasil exhibitions and public events present participants' artwork to the wider community and bring people of different backgrounds together.

Implementation goals

  • Hold award and certificate ceremonies recognizing participants
  • Host talks and cultural gatherings open to the public

The general public, families, schools, and migrant and local communities.

Sustainable Support for Local Artists & Cultural Workers

Programs that help local artists and cultural workers develop their practice and build sustainable livelihoods through their art.

  • Engage artists as paid or volunteer workshop educators
  • Share guidance on presenting, pricing, and promoting work
